Has anyone joined me on the Getting rid of Peavy for Lincecum train.

I'm starting to think Lincecum returning is a thing, at least to start off in the Pen. But you gotta think it would make for some awkward tension, right? They would be bringing Lincecum back in to potentially replace Cain or Peavy. It's one thing when you stay within the organization and bring up a young dude, but it's different when you go outside the organization and bring in a guy. Peavy and Cain are pros and won't make a big deal out of it to the media, but I think it would certainly be a huge knock on their ego.

I am OK with PV and/or Cain going to the DL and SOMEONE taking their spot.

But I would be shocked if it were Timmeh.

Who knows, maybe the Giants are doing Timmeh a solid and showing increased interest in him to drive up his price, knowing Tim's first choice would probably be SF. Get him a few extra dollars.

I'd be shocked if Cain were taken out of the rotation prior to June.

I'm sticking to my 3 start prediction from his last start. This was start #2. I believe he will be given the opportunity to start vs. TOR (start #3) on Monday, then a change will be made. I don't think it will be Timmeh, but I believe a change will be made.

If Heston is, in fact, starting tonight for Sacto, I think we know who our winner will be.

Would starting PV against Toronto (one of the most potent offenses in the bigs) make sense for a guy's "last chance"? If he is going to be pulled, pull him now.

If Timmy throws 92-93, it's going to be hard to turn him down. Doubt it happens, but it would make things interesting.

I have a feeling it has more to do with giving the options time to play themselves up (i.e. Timmy, Heston, etc.) while giving PV his "official warning" that things must get better in a hurry. PV's response today was that because he was striking guys out, he's not finished. Welp, the 4 taters he served up today says otherwise. I don't think Heston has been stretched out enough to start yet, which factors into this as well.

From your keyboard to the baseball Gods' eyes....he was and still is one of my favorite players. It will be difficult to see him in another uniform if he moves on.

But it is Cain tomorrow. However, it is also the Rockies outside of Denver.

I'm still hopeful for Cainer.

PV.....not so much.
