It is indeed. I took the southern route. 95 south to the 66 to the 81 and then to the 40 West all the way across.

40 is the northern route for me. 20 is the southern route.
Can't seem to get a ticket on either. better slow down on the Indian reservation though.
If you ever do get a ticket on a reservation, pay it to the reservation. If you ask him to get a trooper instead, it will cost a lot more and will go on your insurance. It is almost worth it to pay Indians $60 to haul ass through - until you meet a trooper instead!

Should I assume you still live in the northeast? NE cops are total dicks in comparison to everywhere else IMO. I look at NE cops more like tax/revenue collectors than cops.

I was joking with my buddies that once I got out of NE I'd be fine.

Yup, I'm on the Cape. I'd love to move south but the wife doesn't want to be far from family.

Just curious, why not 84 to 81 to 40? There are a ton of ways to get there...Many stay north of 40 through to vegas...

Couldn't get a plate from CA before I went back home. I was trying to register the car in CA and they wouldn't do it without a smog check first.

The car is getting registered right now. I'm paying somebody to handle it for me.

I've done the 40 three times so it's familiar. I thought about going other ways but I was alone so didn't want any surprises.
