Results are not at issue. By the numbers, there was AT LEAST a 3-1 chance they would have gotten Noonan.

My point is that Noonan has been very cold, while Pill is a bat. That s why he is in the Bigs. Noonan is here because he is a util player.

Zero flaw in your logic. It was the execution that was lacking. And, from what I saw from him this spring, I thought that Pill would have a breakthrough year this year. He still has time, but I saw him hit 2 monster bombs, and was duely impressed.

Pill was getting a lot of trade interest during/after the spring. Reportedly from the Spanks especially.

He had to ruin all that by getting hurt, though. Still has been tearing the cover off the ball in Fresno.
