Why is Arroya batting #2?

I love his ABs, but he simply isn't getting on base. Bat him 6 or 7 until he gets his feet under him.

Well, there aren't a whole lot of options for the 2nd spot, except Belt or Posey. "He simply isn't getting on base" applies to about 6 of the 9 players in today's lineup.

And once again, ahem, no walks for the brain dead hackers. Can't anyone on this team work a count? Especially when they are scuffling at the plate? Lester is a good pitcher, but criminy, this is like the 15th game with one walk or less.
The "good pitcher" might well get a CG with under 100 pitches. That's impressive.

90 pitches through 8.1. What is impressive is that he also has 9 K's.

edit: 99 pitches for a CG. No walks. Ten K's. Dominating performance. Not hard against this bunch.
When your hitting approach is "swing early, swing often" there will be games like this . . . unfortunately.

All this trade talk about Cueto is really going to be moot if he continues to pitch like his 2015 second half.

Blisters = gopher balls

Blisters are rough. They don't seem like a big deal but they really are. They hurt, and are tough to pitch through but the only solution is to keep pitching so that they harden. If you take time off, the fingers get soft and while the blisters heal, they can easily return.
