Yeah. Won't happen either way, now, but getting 7 more innings eaten by the starters will be very handy with the Rockies coming to town. Bum's pitches were around the plate enough, and his spot in the line-up was close enough that I like the risk by Boch, there. The inning before, a safe bunt over would have been nice, but that decision ended up being meaningless, too.

It's a long season. They just might DFA him yet. I think an upgrade is still a priority. I will certainly root for the Blanco/Torres platoon, though, because I like what they can do with the leather, and on the bases.

This. I'm sure Boldin is excited (bummed for Crab, but still excited to cash in on his last contract), and AJ needs to make big leaps. It's a good thing that offense is deep.

im hoping Crab can have a Suggs-like recovery. otherwise i hope Patton and Jenkins can step it up. im glad Williams and Manningham will be back too.
