Cutch in the on deck circle. Doubt he is facing the DL with that...
Don't forget the two inherited runners that scored though.4.2 IP, 5 H, 1 R, 9 K, 2 BB

Maybe it was the same knee that Belt needed to rest.RF Hernandez

Cutch resting the knee. He is listed as d2d, but that typically progresses to a 60-day stint with this team.
I thought this was a joke until I looked it up. I also noticed the D-Backs have the third lowest team OPS in MLB, ahead of only San Diego and Miami. The Giants are, however, the most potent offense in the NL West...
Right now, Gorkys is the best of the three in terms of offensive numbers. He makes the least sense to let go. Jackson still makes the most sense to say "goodbye" to but Blanco's sub-.300 OBP is starting to make a strong case.My hate for Gorkys is less for Gorkys himself, but the abundance we keep talking about.
Jackson is the guy that has to go, but at this point we all know that's just not gonna happen. So if Jackson isn't going anywhere, it means Gorkys is the one who ends up blocking Mac or Slater or whoever.
If the Giants cut Jackson I'd be fine keep Gorkys around for awhile.
Yeah, but what about 2017?Giants through 48 games in 2017 had 33 homers
Giants through 48 games in 2017 have 50 homers
I like the trend

Are we ready to say Gorkys is actually legit to even good?
And isn't Belt right now an NL MVP contender? If he keeps this pace up he is.
Nope. This one is legit. He left Saturday’s game after the double with a sore kneeMaybe it was the same knee that Belt needed to rest.
As it sits right now, we will be buyers at the deadline for SP help. I could see Shaw getting dealt as the centerpiece. Maybe even package Shaw and Slater.Look, they do feel like a .500 team. A decent to good lineup, a very strong pen, and shitty as hell starting pitching. Can they keep their shit together long enough for the cavalry to arrive (Bum and Cueto)? Worth watching for sure.
I'm ready to see he deserves to be on this roster right now. I am not ready to say that for Blanco or Jackson. Are we ready to say Gorkys is actually legit to even good?
