Giants Win!
He was below average last year and is absolutely horrible this year.
God I hope the Giants get him (and I'm not kidding)
Yes!
Cain gets a cheap win! No errors! Milk!
If he's still pretty slick with the glove at 2B, I honestly wouldn't mind.
There are a lot of other positives I see in this game, but for fear of the jinx, I ain't mentioning any of them.
You're welcome.
Reports say his range has deteriorated.
Interesting.....sadly, I think I'd still prefer him over Burriss (as soon as Arias is back). I realize that's not saying much.
Blanco RF
Crawford SS
Cabrera LF
Posey C
Pagan CF
Belt 1B
Burriss 3B
Culberson 2B
Cain SP
Poor Matt Cain. Guy doesn't stand a chance.
Craw batting 2nd? Really Bochy?
Burriss back at 3rd? Do you hate us?
3-1 Tards.
I realize you meant this as a joke.
However...
Huff does have extensive 3B experience at the MLB level, but now, due to his mental state as a result of that fateful game, he can not be considered there. Certainly puts an additional barrier to his finding some way of adding to the team.
Sad.
I don't know anything about this. But I can imagine that Huff is a "fly-under-the-radar" kind of guy, and as long as the expectations are low, he does well. When the expectations are high, he crashes. Might that not be the root of his alternate year success/failure pattern? He hits well, expectations rise, then the next season he can't handle it. Expectations are then low, and he does well.
I am not sure the 2nd base misadventure "caused" his anxiety attack or whatever it was, but it certainly seems to have pushed him gently over the edge.
I also wonder what not having PTB around has done for Huff's psyche. Although PTB's presence did nothing for Huff's hitting last season.
OK, now you can tell us.

You want me to warm up that crow for you, Cam, or do you want to eat it cold?
I prefer my crow cold. Like roast beef, it makes great sandwich meat and goes well with cole slaw and iced tea.
