Agreed. Because he signed for 5/85, and we offered 4/70. Had to be more than money, I would think. He was going to tell his side of story about his leaving the Giants later in ST in 2020. Abviously that got derailed a bit. Have you seen him address that story again since? He definitely made it seem there was a story there that was more than just the standard “It was time, so I went to the money”. There was SOME level of bad blood there…
Why so early on writing off Wilson? He's got a .881 OPS with Richmond. That is no small feat!I don’t think the cap space can by over stated. Even though the Wilson trade does not appear to have worked out, I REALLY like the concept, and hope we make more of those kinds of trades in the future.
I hope he pans out. He is supposed to have Craw-level d. It has just been a decent amount of time and I rarely see him listed in any top prospect lists. Why so early on writing off Wilson? He's got a .881 OPS with Richmond. That is no small feat!

Post #20....great minds think alike, and so do weJose Uribe, come forth!
Apparently, the Pirates just claimed him.Jaylin Davis was dfa'd on April 21st and an announcement was made on April 28th that he was claimed by the Red Sox. I don't know if that is the max time frame for waivers but if it is, then we should know more about Beede tomorrow.
