Side News Kilgore is practicing snapping to Kap so that is good news. We can use him for sure. I have a feeling Martin will go back to guard.

I hope so. The question becomes can the foot handle the rigors of real football. Kilgore was just hiking the ball to Kap. He wasn't blocking anyone or putting pressure on the foot. He is eligible to come back the first Seattle game but due to the severity of the second surgery and his conditioning, some don't think it is realistic

I like it. I haven't heard that term for "snapping" the ball since grade school. Well done! Brought a smile to my face.

Not so sure. the defense plays completely different on the road. I have it Giants 27 49ers 6. I think Kaepernick can take the team on at least one 3-point drive and a Manning INT or fumble could lead to another. Not to confident in the D on the road.
But for bone-headed mistakes at the end of the Dallas and Atlanta games this team would be 4 and oh.

You might be right. I don't know what is going to happen. The defense played better last week because Mangini simplified the defense and gave up on the exotic coverages. They played more man defense last week and blitzed alot less. They played more like Fangio's 49er defense last week. We'll see how it goes this week.

Possibly. The only positive I took from the team last week was that I was impressed with the defense. I'm expecting that to continue, but who knows? Holding the Packers to 17 was excellent and would have resulted in a victory if our offense wasn't a complete disaster.

Taking the average of what the Niners allow and the Giants score versus what the Giants allow and what we score, it'll be 24-17 Giants. If we play well, it'll be the Giants scoring at the end to win. If we don't play well, it'll be garbage points to make the game closer.

Staley may be out this game with a knee injury. Of all the olineman to go down. I don't want anyone to get injured but why couldn't it have been Pears or Devey instead.

Just make sure you don't get beat up. LOL. You probably won't have much to worry about because Giants fans will have more pity on us Niner fans than anger.

If I were a betting man, I would bet against it, but the only reason I don't rule that out is because of the coaches. Either they will produce such a bad result that they have to bench him or they won't know that he is not the problem for a specific issue and they will bench him. The reason I think this is because Singletary benched Alex for Troy.
