Many analysts have written off the 49ers this year due to several off-season issues that we have had as well as our underwhelming performance in the preseason.

Which team will show up today? The hard-hitting football team that we have seen the last few years, or the team riddled with issues that the analysts expect. I believe in the former.

I expect to see a decisive win against the Cowboys on the field. I also predict that the final score will make it seem like a closer game than it actually is.

back from the bar. Very happy with this win. Great 1st half. I wish Harbaugh would go for the kill in the 2nd half. Refs helped Cowboys with 4 bad calls in a row but crap happens. Overall great day for Kap, VD, and boldin. Another positive Hyde is a beast.

I agree. I can't believe how much Lynch played and Johnson is going to be a good CB for us. Hyde is a beast.

very concerned that our run D is so bad? not that i expected a stout front, but its the extent we were run on? it felt like Dallas could call run plays with confidence?

granted, our D was in nickel too, so again its how bad, not that we didn't hold them to zero yards.

That is 1 negative I take away from this game. The positive by week 9 we get 2 pro bowlers back to help the run defense. 1 of them is one of the best at run defense.
