How are we underdogs? All he said is that history indicates we will win less games next year.

Also, John Clayton picked us to win the Super Bowl. Can you spin that to us being underdogs no matter what?

I agree, I do not think he is saying we are the underdogs but we are going to regress. I highly doubt we will go 13-3 again, we have a much tougher schedule. I still think we will win the division as I am sure most people do to.

Okay, maybe not the under dogs, but he's saying we're going to be worse next year based on statistics. I'm not saying his argument isn't solid, because i think it is. Sando is expecting us to have a worse record and therefore our chances decrease. Is that acceptable to you?

John Clayton didn't write this article. How did i spin something John Clayton said when i didn't even reference him? I could care less what he thinks.

I agree. Tougher schedule, and the team as whole will most likely commit more turnovers. I'd think 10 or 11 wins.

we could be 12-4 but a better team though. The offense will be better than last year and you can bank on that. The defense will be good, but I don't expect it to be last year good. The tougher schedule will play into as well, but we will be a more dangerous team next year.

I'm thinking 11-5, but a better team as others have also stated. Schedule is out tomorrow night which will also play a role.

I hope the league decides to schedule our game with the saints early in the season while all their suspensions are in effect.

last week i saw an article about us having the 24th hardest schedule in 2012. this was just based on records from the 2011 season.

it may be a tougher schedule but maybe not THAT much?

You said we're the underdogs no matter what. I'm asking you to spin Clatyon picking us as the Super Bowl champions is calling us underdogs under your we're underdogs "no matter what" statement.

Division games are more important than out of division, but how does our out of division strength of schedule compare with others? I know that this wouldn't be even playing field as some teams are in stronger divisions, thus making ours look harder. Yes, I do notice that our division is harder than it was before.

24th makes sense considering our division and the other divisions we play. But honestly, the difference between 1 & 32 hardly make it worth even ranking the SOS in the first place. Add to that the fact the SOS' are based on the previous years schedule and it becomes nearly meaningless.

For what it is worth I believe our SOS next year is 48.8%

I was referring to the outlook on the team over all through the past decade. Not the fact that everybody had us ranked as the underdogs this year.

The team was picked to win the division probably 3 of the last 4 or 5 years.

As for how the division was ranked in the league, yeah it was ranked poorly, but that's because all the teams in it sucked.

According to Clayton it's the 3rd toughest in the league.

I think we'll be 11-5 but I do agree we'll be a better team because the offense should be markedly improved.

markedly?

can you give some idea what "markedly" is? for example....rising 8 spots on offensive stats?
