Thought I'd get a game day thread going for the heck of it. How bout' this talk that Seattle offered us Percy Harvin for JT? WTF......do they think we're stupid? A diva, oft injured WR for a top 3 TE? Don't get that one bit.

Anyways......Go Broncos! I'm a bit nervous for this one tonight. Hope our 3rd down defense is on point tonight :thumb:

In their defense, they don't only thought your gm was stupid but tried several others as well.. Cleveland for Jordan Cameron.. And were going to cut him until the jets stepped up.. :L

Anyways hopeful for a good game guys with no injuries.. Have a bad feeling about Manning taking our back MLB's to school today..

Should be a good game. I know your team has some key guys out, but still a lot of good players.

Yeah Niner, I like our chances tonight considering that the 49er defense has so many good players hurt. Welker and Julius Thomas could have big games against your backup LBs. The 49ers defense had better find a way to get pressure on Manning and the offense needs to try to establish as much possession as possible to keep the ball out of Manning's hands.

On the other side of the ball, Denver's D is better than a lot of people realize, and I think the same can be said about the 9er's offense. Kaepernick is playing really well lately.

Regardless of injuries, this should be a good game between two top-tier teams. Good luck to both teams on the injury front.

I see we've dusted off the blue uniforms for the game tonight. I like the orange a lot better and am really glad the Broncos went back to orange for their primary home color.

Totally agree about the orange unis being better but it's nice to see the all blue look once a year. So far, defense holds them to 3 and out and offense scores a TD. If they play like this the rest of the game, I may be looking for the blue uniforms more often! Go Broncos!

I like the all-blue unis. Seems like we win a lot when wearing them too.

Our injuries on defense and the oline are showing. Great game by Denver.

BTW, I like Trace Atkins but the National Anthem was awful

Great game by you guys. Our injuries especially on D showed tonight. I read an article tonight that said Seattle offered Denver Percy Harvin for Julius Thomas which Denver turned down. Had Denver accepted that trade, I would have forever cursed Denver, lol.

Four quarters on both sides of the ball. We caught a few breaks on SF receivers dropping catchable balls, but still our best game of the season. I'm optimistic that we build on it to take down SD and NE the next two weeks.

I'm going to guess Elway laughed for 5 minutes that Seattle even thought it was worth making that phone call. I would also send them a bill for wasting my time.

Trolls and crybabies....

Seattle fans are about as stupid as their team's GM.

Anyway, great game by the Broncos tonight. They put together a pretty complete game, and the way they played, nobody in the NFL would have been able to beat them. Not a healthy Niners team, not the Cowboys, not the Chargers. Great game.

Oh, forgot one - not the Ravens.

I think that covers the top teams in the NFL right now.

You definitely get the sense that loss to Seattle is looking more and more like an embarrassing anomaly. They played ultra-conservative in that game, but when they decided to play to win, they looked really good. Meanwhile the 1st and 2nd place teams in the vaunted NFC West both had 40+ hung on them by these Broncos.

The Broncos need this win against the Chargers, who look good despite the loss to the Chiefs yesterday. Then it's 3 straight road games. Awesome.

Go Broncos!

It does help that the last 2 against the NFC West have been at home though. I think if we have Seattle at home we put up 40 on them as well. The problem in Seattle beyond just playing conservatively is just the unforced errors. Montee's fumble on the very first play from scrimmage is not how you want to start a game. After that play he ran so hesitant that it just hurt his ability to do anything in the game which of course then made us 1-dimensional. We finally seem to have the run game going and it is paying off big time. I honestly am starting to think this offense could be more dangerous than last year's group. Sanders brings a whole new dynamic to that offense and the Thomas' look as good as ever right now.

I was happy Niner fans were able to watch their team be a part of NFL history being made.
