Gore- Deserves it
Joe Staley- Deserves it
Mike Iupati- Sorry don't think he deserves. Didn't have a great year.
VD- He is in the top 4. Other were Thomas, Graham, Cameron
J. Smith- Always deserves it.
Brooks- So happy to see this. He deserves it.
Willis- Not a great year but he is still top 3
Bowman- Yes he is top 3 for ILB

Congrats guys. Its great to see 49ers lead the NFC in pro bowls. KC also has 8 and leads for the AFC.

The pro bowl is by conference isn't it? Reid would've had to have made it in over someone in the AFC.

...and he should've IMO. He had as good a season as any safety in football IMO. But the pro bowl is pure crap anyway, so I don't really care.

Not this year. Deion Sanders and Jerry Rice are doing a Probowl draft and it didn't matter what conference made it. Also Boone should have made it over Ipuati and Reid over Byrd. Not to mention Lavonte David is having a monster year and he was snubbed

Not surprised about Lee, he fell off a little bit this year.

Iupati I'm surprised made it. He hasn't had a great year and he has missed games. His last game against the Falcons was a pretty good game(specifically in run blocking)

Frank Gore on what would it be like going against Willis or Bowman:

Would Bowman find it weird to have to tackle RB Frank Gore or cover TE Vernon Davis with the new Pro Bowl format?

"Yeah, that would probably be a weird thing and I might not tackle him. Just let him score and get his yards or whatever. Yeah, that'd be weird because that hasn't happened since training camp."

The new Pro Bowl format is a huge fail, IMO. I can't see a viable way to have a Pro Bowl in this era. Time to shelve it and move on.

Because he's second in the league, only behid Richard Sherman, in CB INTs? Or maybe because he's argueably been the best cover corner since getting regular play time?

You continue to show your football ignorance... Joe Staley is one of the, if not THE highest graded tackle in football.

Brooks has been arguably our best linebacker (Bowman is probably better, but I think he has outplayed Willis and Aldon when you look at his overall game).

The only one I think is clearly not deserving is Potty

I'm not even convinced that Brock has been the best CB on our team, much less worthy of a pro bowl spot. I don't think interceptions are the best measuring stick for a DB.

That's why I also me tioned that he's been the highest graded cover corner in the league the past 11-12 games. If you don't think he's out best corner, then you haven't been paying attention.
