He wins one, and he jumps right in the discussion as best coach in the country with Saban and Meyer, but until then he's a step below them.

Which school was he supposed to win a championship with? San Diego? Set the school record for wins in a season, back to back years in his 2nd and 3rd year. Stanford? They were one of the worst teams in ALL of college football. 1-11 when he took over. In year 4, they were 12-1 and a top 5 team and set the school record for wins in a season. Michigan? We were 5-7 the year before he took over.

He has had one season where he has even had a full roster of his recruits. (year 4 at Stanford)

Hell -- even in the NFL -- SF hadn't had a winning season in almost a decade.

Back when MNF wasn't hard to watch, it was for me too.

But now, it's Mondays.

I'm always full of vinegar ready to hit it hard and get it done on Monday and the day flies by. Tuesdays drag by. I catch my second wind on Wednesday and it carries me through Friday.
