He's a successful coach, but he doesn't have near the pedigree of Saban or Meyer. I don't like either OSU or Michigan, or Bama for that matter, so I'll gladly eat my crow if need be.

I think you are confusing resume with pedigree. I'm thinking being a starting QB in college, playing 16 years in the NFL, coaching 6 more years in the NFL, 9 years as a head coach in college and 8 years as an assistant in college (for his dad, while he played in the NFL) is quite a pedigree.

How many championships?

He wins one, and he jumps right in the discussion as best coach in the country with Saban and Meyer, but until then he's a step below them.

And has zero championships in either.

Saban and Meyer have championships at two different programs.

In fairness Harbaugh hasn't been coaching college football as long as those 2,

That Nebraska loss and lackluster performance against NW has lit a fire under OSU's ass. And I never doubt Meyer and OSU with their back against the wall.

They lost to Penn State, not Nebraska. Anyways -- this is a Washington USC thread. I don't want to hijack this thread.

Saban has what, 4 now and Meyer has 3. Both at two programs.
