There are lots of ways to make a 6 man SP staff work ... and it's not lock step 6 day rotation just like you point out. Guy can get skipped ... off days can mean 2 guys get an extra day.

Means you go to a 6 man bullpen ... but I think anyone over 12yo can figure out who to boot to fix that in about 2 seconds.

you go with 4 set starters and the other two rotate between starter and long reliever.
