Your 5-5 versus P5 teams this year and 4-4 versus the Mountain West...guess you guys need to import some more G5 teams out West. Or are you just going to play 20 FCS teams instead of the 10 you played this year.

Didn't the SEC play 15 FCS teams?

How many ranked wins does bama have?

000000000000

Yeah, that's why we aren't going to the playoff either.

We did have 9 in the two previous years...which would be why we have 5 of the last 10 championships and the Pac-12 hasn't sniffed one since Reggie Bush.

The PAC was 1 second from a NC in 2011. Definitely more than a sniff.

Only the Big 12 played more regular season P5 teams on average than the PAC where as the SEC plays the least amount of P5 teams on average. You fail again.

And nobody loses to more ranked teams OOC than the PAC...the question wasn't who schedules better, the question was who deserves to be in the playoffs. Until you guys can actually beat more ranked team OOC than you lose to, it would seem the answer is clear.

Or I should say until somebody else beats a ranked team OOC. Since we've been waiting 6658 days for Washington to do it in the regular season...and it will be at least 6937 before you get another chance....assuming Michigan is pre-season ranked next year. That will be 3 days shy of 19 years...wow, such fail. I think it's safe to say at this point that ordering a cake for day 7000 is as likely as not.

No conference has a winning record against ranked OOC teams.

Answer me this. Why does the SEC refuse to play their own conference members and why does the SEC play the least amount of P5 teams on average year in and year out.

Because we win a lot more games than we lose OOC, even against ranked teams, so there's not much sense in risking a loss against the better competition that exists in the SEC. Some conferences that are shitty have to play more P5 teams OOC because they lose a lot, so they need a second data point to make up for getting their ass kicked on the first one. Unless your Washington, they you just schedule two G5's and pretend they are good....although Hawaii is 2-1 in Pac play, so I guess that is a good win for you? Not sure, data seems flawed.

When the comment is just reiterating the poll question itself, it’s dumb.

You need to limit your rule making to targeting

You mean like Tennessee going 1 - 3 in non conference play and finishing the season at 7 - 5. gtfo with your bs.

Why would you say "beat more ranked teams than you lose to" when no one is accomplishing that?

Jesus Christ, that's what you want to get hung up on...I misspoke, I meant against P5. The last time you guys had a winning record against P5 teams was 2014. Your 5-5 this year, but I fully expect more bed shitting in the post-season.

Ahh yes, one off anecdotal evidence, the favorite of bullshit artists everywhere. Yes, this year was not a typical year for the SEC, but it was still a better year that it was for the Pac-12.

Get back to me when the SEC grows a set and stops avoiding their own conference members.

I can understand why you would want to play more of your own conference, after all it's a scary football world out there for a shitty Pac team, but why would we want to? Seems like the not smart thing to do.

Just put Georgia in there either way... Utah doesn’t belong anywhere near the playoff, the committee will hopefully do their job, which is keeping mediocre teams like Utah out regardless of their record.

It's a mathematical fact that conferences that actually play their own conference members lose more games. Enjoy your 12 year rotation.
