54% on 20 made threes.

I thought Atlanta actually played pretty well....how the hell are you supposed to win when the other team makes 20 threes on over 50% from behind the arc?

Usually by playing defense, which the Hawks did not do.

Hawks defense been a major disappointment this series. Just confirms that they never thought they could compete with Cleveland

They're way too mentally weak. Not sure how much of that reflects on the coaching.

I really, really don't mean to rain on Cleveland's parade as they have been playing great...but if it's GS/Cleveland again, I don't know if it's in the Cavs best interest to try and beat GS by speeding the game up and shooting threes. It's working well for em so far however.

You can get the brooms out.
Cavs will have time to take a week cruise before the ECF.

I said this since they acquired Frye. If their goal is to out shoot the Warriors, that won't end well for the Cavs. Maybe can work against the Spurs but not against the Dubs

it just looks like thats what they are giving them....like- obviously JR has hit some sick contested three's...but the vast majority are open looks...they just seem to be packing the paint because they are afraid of Thompsons offensive rebounding and LEBron/Kyrie geting to the rim..

dont be a hater....they both made very good defensive plays down the stretch...of course Kyrie getting red-hot offensively ALSO helps

Hater?
I was the only one here giving the Cavs credit vs ripping the Hawks.

They were nice D plays, but the game was over.
It was over because of all the 3s, not D.

I think against Miami/Toronto, they won't get nearly as many open looks.

Bingo...!

and fault the Hawks wanting to make the 4th quarter a 3 point battle. NOT winning basketball...

Tristan with NINE offensive boards...just unreal...one guy simply cannot box this guy out. Nothing rips your heart out more than defending well for 22 seconds and then giving the team another possession.

I might be wrong, but the 3 Cavs road performances so far, would all be L's against the Spurs or Warriors assuming those teams play their normal game.

I think playing weak teams is what kills the Cavs when they play an West team. Cavs D is so so and they think they are shooting well but they are playing teams that don't play D either.
