Base hit and WERE GOING HOME!
It was gone for about a month. Manfred saw that just about everyone, everywhere was glad it was gone, so he reinstituted it.
He just isn’t a fan of the game. He is a businessman, 100%. Nothing wrong with that, but it leaves a very bad taste in the mouth of fans.Rob Manfred makes me feel ashamed to be a lawyer.
same here ... didn't realize it until I saw the runner on second ... hate that rule ...
Classic Doobie brain fart.
DH ISNT a good rule.I still haven't accepted that the DH is a good rule. I'll never accept initial placement.
There goes our initial placement. SMH.

A few weeks ago, Baer was on KNBR and he was asked if Manfred liked baseball. Baer hemmed and hawed and avoided the question.

I would hope you wouldn’t have accepted a falsehood as fact.
Had 'em all the way!
I suggested this idea years ago. But the proposed rule, imho, goes too far. I just think if the pitcher is pulled, or if the DH is pinch hit or pinch run for, the other is pulled as well. The two are linked. But the next pitcher is now linked to the next DH (and vice versa). The team never loses the DH, they just have to use a different one.I don't like the DH. But I do like some of the suggester tweaks, like if the starting pitcher is pulled, so is the DH. The Union will never allow this to happen, though. Nevah!
HA HA HAA laugher.
I actually like the man on 2nd rule in extras (would prefer waiting until the 11th or 12th). But I heard a great idea on the radio for what to call it: the Manfred manI didn't think anyone could be worse than Selig, but here is Manfred amazing us all. And the fact that Manfred is a highly educated lawyer makes it even harder to accept that he is so bad.
Obviously the current rule is the Ohtani rule and I'm ok with it. Baseball needs to market the hell out of him.I suggested this idea years ago. But the proposed rule, imho, goes too far.
