Actual basketball and we have some good interesting scenarios as playoff seeds take their final forms over the next 9 days.

-MIA sees if they can look presentable against the Nets and increase their hold on the #1 East seed. They will be playing with out Wade, Oden and Allen.

-Hawks try to add a win to there 8 seed strangle hold

-SA needs 2 wins to lock up the #1 overall seed

-OKC is now only 1 game ahead of the LAC for the #2 overall seed and has a very winnable game tonight against SAC

-The Rockets have a formality agreement to allow players in Purple and Yellow jerseys to come scrimmage an NBA team tonight.

-And finally Utah will look to add 1 of their final touches to a really good tank this year.

It's really frustrating that in our 3 meaningful games against the nets, we had significant injuries in 2 of the 3 now.

If these teams meet in the playoffs the only match-up you can really take anything out of is the last meeting in Miami. You can't take anything from the game which happened on day 4 of the season, the heat were without their starting backcourt in the other game in brooklyn, and now we are without 2 starters in this one

It's different when someone is out for the season as there is nothing that would be different if they met in the playoffs. With Wade being out in these games, there is nothing you can really take away from it as Wade will be there in the playoffs.

It's like when teams beat OKC w/out Westbrook or beat the Spurs when they were missing Leonard and other starters

BTW starting Lopez and KG actually hurt than the Nets more than it helped them.....Is it any surprise that they magically started playing better as soon as they went to this small lineup where Pierce is the PF

The Spurs are doing the same thing.


They are playing without Parker and giving Splitter the night off.....while Duncan will only play limited minutes.




I just wish they would clinch the #1 seed first instead of giving guys nights off when it is still undecided.

And its not like the Nets been playing good all year. And its not like the Heat dont still have 2 star players.

There is no excuse why the Heat is 0-3 and a possible 0-4 again the Nets this year.

I know they are without Tony Parker and maybe half-assing it, but this is embarrassing.


It probably helps a bit to get Parker a few games off.....but the backup Spurs PGs are being depantsed by Ricky Rubio.


I haven't seen Rubio all season long, but he looks great for the first look.
