It's worth mentioning after a few starts, although I will concede that losing 4.2 mph off a fastball is pretty steep.

I'd say it's worth making predictions from said data after several starts of similar data, but it's worth keeping an eye on after 1. But more or less we're saying the same thing here.

Personally, I'm glad the Mets had so much time off this week because I'm a busy man and had stuff to do an such.

ESPeNis is really to blame, because they wanted that "rematch" game on Sunday night. The schedule I was given at the end of last season had the first two games on Monday and Wednesday, which is what the Mets have done for the past decade or so.

What's more galling is that this Opener game DOES NOT count towards the Mets' limit of six appearances on the Sunday Night GOTW.

LOL...I thought it was hilarious that they played "American Woman" for Syndergaard. He seemed to think it was funny, too. And apparently it didn't phase him, so all in good fun.
