Just coming over to say that Harrison looks to be throwing a (fairly effective) 5 and dive while Priester looks to be working on a complete game shutout. Man, it stinks when we face dominant aces like this.
It's the park man. Everyone is Koufax there on a cold night

Walker got umpjacked, walked a guy he actually struck out, then walked the next guy. No bueno in a 0-0 game

Aptly named Walker walks and HBPs the bases loaded

Why is this pitcher named Walker and that guy Outman is a hitter? Riddle me that!

I thought Taylor singled.
Maybe I'm switching with the NBA playoff game and surfing the internet lol

Aren't you a Gen Xer? Of course, it probably depends on what "expert" you use to measure the starting year of the Millennials. At one point, some "experts" had Millennials starting with 1976 birth dates.

Gotta admit that pitch Rogers throws that literally rises as it approaches the batter, that's some fun funky stuff

I'm all the way X (1970) but I'm all about keeping young LOL

Even though it's pretty much not super useful as hard science, the generational stuff is fun to talk about. There's no doubt when you grow up affects your cultural references and attitudes. This link is great, one part I like is how they are increasingly splitting Boomers up into early and late, they are such a long cohort period and there was a real divide between early Boomers (who faced the draft into Vietnam) and late ones (who didn't). Early Boomers were the people who attended Woodstock, younger boomers were like 8 years old then.

When I was working on my master's degree in the early 2000s (probably around 2002), I was going to write a paper on the young generation (who became Millennials) but could not find enough material on that subject to put together a decent paper. Boy have things changed in 20 years.

Maybe missing a joke here...huh?
Referencing the reason given for why Rogers stalled out at AAA for 3 years and didn't get get a September callup (back when teams could have 40 guys in the dugout during that month too). It was stated that his stuff would be too hittable in the big leagues and he would never be successful, so why bother bringing him up?
