Fantastic 3 innings from FYWW to preserve a 1 run lead on the road.

For the series, the Giants had 12 hits in 90 at bats (.133)

1-13 with RISP

Scored 6 runs

Gave up 8 runs (7 earned) and lost two games

Giants are now 8-1 when they score first

Team batting average is barely above .230, and that after such a great start in AZ.

Good win today, they needed this one.

Giants roll the Padres 4-3

The Giants only had three hits today but they turned into four runs and it was enough to win 4-3 in SD to end this series. Buster with the big blow hitting a early 2 run bomb and Pagan had a 2 run single .

Lincecum got the win and he pitched well. He gave up only 3 ER over 6 innings. Casilla got a big DP to end a inning. Romo was big in the 9th getting out of a mini jam walking the lead off man but he came back to get 3 straight to end it.

Some say torture the way the Giants play but hey man,this is how they roll.
