discuss the sport of stick and ball.
yes, the indians carrasco is alive...just a bruised jaw, he got lucky.
David Wright is on the DL and equally as surprising, the sun rose in the East this morning.
yup...we'll see. I've never thought he had much mental strength, so while the physical damage might be light, it very well could have tweaked his melon.
You remember when Clement got drilled in the temple? I think the Sox were down in Tampa. I thought that killed him.
Is he still playing?

I remember playing ball as a kid. There was no worse feeling than committing an error. I wouldnt be shocked if he is damaged goods right nowYou seen all the Ian Desmond errors? Costly ones too! I also noticed that Desmond fielded the RBI groundout off of Holt's bat that scored the eventual winning run. He looked towards home and really thought about it, as he did have a play at the plate. But 6 errors later, he doesn't seem to have the confidence to make that play. Don't discount the fact that Desmond's defense could suffer beyond the basic errors. If he's worried about making these basic plays, it will be that much harder for him to make the big plays. And comments from him do confirm that he's very worried right now.
I haven't followed Ian Desmond's career, so this year could just be a fluke, but has anyone questioned whether he, in fact, should be playing shortstop? Maybe outfield or first base. (or get traded to the AL so he can DH).
In case you missed it, Nick Martinez is now 2-0 and hasn't given up a run in 14 innings. That is all.
3-0 lead and we fought off the bases loaded not too shabby
Once again the Nationals defense starts giving the game away.
