Read a piece this morning in which the writer mentioned how unlikely it might seem that the name Mookie would ever become popular in Boston, given that it was Mookie Wilson who hit the ball through Buckner's legs in the '86 WS. I had actually forgotten that bit of history, but I do remember that near scuffle between Mookie and the dude in the Celtics jersey in Do the Right Thing.
