Kirby - Miller - Gilbert is our strongest 3 man rotation and that is what 3 matchup vs BoSox in that order starting tonite

BOS was riding a recent 5 or 6 game winning streak coming into SF this past weekend. They won the 1st game and then just dumped the last 2 in a bad way: Saturday walk off HR in the bottom of the 9th on the very 1st pitch from Jansen. Sun lost in extra innings in the bottom of 11th.

We may have caught them at just the right time when they are 2nd guessing themselves.

PLUS ... this is their version of one of our east coast trips ( long flights = poor performance often )

We must take minimum 2 of 3 for 'step 2' of my prophecy to keep rolling
