We get dominated by the starting pitcher for 3 innings. He leaves with an injury of some sort and the guy that comes in promptly gets 3 outs on 8 pitches. This offense.

Jon Gray came out pretty quickly there. Training staff must have seen something, or as the broadcast noted, maybe he re-aggravated that foot

I will say it's tough to get geared up for one guy, and then have to face a different guy, especially at this stage of the game. It's different for other relief pitchers because hitters can basically expect who they are going to face.

Doesn't give these guys a pass, but still. Hopefully next inning will be better.
