Awesome start.

I mean, it's not at all out of the question that he really did, finally, get healed up. He has some track record behind him, it's not impossible he could become an effective #2-3 level guy.

Still my favorite of the Time of Rings. But the others are a close second: Posey, Panda, Cain, Bum, Wilson, Romo, Crawford, Pence, the whole gang...

I mean, I still love those guys. Even if they are totally washed, or just sliding into average at best-ness, they gave us so much pleasure and winning, I am happy to watch them even if they suck. If we aren't going to be contenders this year, I'm going to take pleasure from watching guys who brought us rings still play and sometimes win.

Tim was probably one of the most likable players in baseball at the time. How could anyone not like that dude?

I agree...why be pessimistic outside gametime. Maybe he builds value and turns into some good prospects.
