Giants win again even though they Struck out 13 times. How many double or triple plays did they hit into? 0
I have always said striking out is better than hitting into a double play. It may look ugly when our hitters swing and miss but it hurts so much more when they hit into an ending double play. Now, not hitting at all like Wade that is not pretty and he better straighten up quickly!!!! ;(

So my dad says Ramos is the first Giant with 5 extra base hits in his first 5 games of the season since Mays. That seems wild to me, feels like it would be more common

Ramos has an XBH in each of his first 5 games, which ties him for 2nd with Mays. all time Giants leader is Felipe Alou with 6 games in a row to start the season with an XBH
