The Pens just got complacent after they scored their second goal to take the lead once again. From that point on, the Flyers appeared to suddenly be the better team and Pittsburgh just didn't quite have the jump in their step that they had for the entire first half of the game.

I feel that obviously a couple of our goals were lucky bounces, but we were probably way overdue for a few of those too. Regardless, this game was pretty much a tale of two halves. Pittsburgh took the first half and Philly took the second half. We just did more with our half. Overall, I was still not entirely happy with the effort early in the game even though our boys definitely appeared to be trying to get it together much more than they have as of late.

This effort is going to have to be improved upon game by game as we enter the playoffs or we'll get embarrassed by a low seed.

The division title isn't officially locked up yet, but I really like our chances now. If the Pens win all of their remaining games, they'll finish with 108 points. If we win just half of our remaining games, we'll finish with 108 points as well and win the division via the tiebreaker. This means that if we get only 6 points or more in the next 6 games, there's nothing the Pens can do to challenge for the division title.

Giroux's goal to put the Flyers ahead changed everything. I felt like it was a lot of back and forth with the Pens controlling play until that goal.

I like Giroux more and more every game. He's the freakin' man.

Also nice to see Bobrovsky make some timely saves. I think he's pretty much seized the starting role for the playoffs.

i thought bob was solid last night, but did anyone think that one goal through his 5 goal was ridiculously weak? he cant be allowing those types of goals in the playoffs because thats how you will lose 2-1 and 3-2 games.

but nonetheless, feels GREAT to go 4-1-1 against the pens this season and that bob had their number

had an argument with superfly and tox about this on the GNT. i dont think it was weak, i don't think it was a great goal but not weak.

kimmo completely jumped a pass and got burned, it was a 2 on 1. kimmo then came back and got his stick between kennedy's legs and on his stick which i think caused bob to react to it differently and wrongly.

it was sad to see everyone jump on bob so bad and then completely lay off kimmo who honestly was the worst player on the ice for the first 2 periods.
