Milk in a tight series. Milks lineup is strong and femur pitching is strong. Milk just has a slight edge with that lineup.

I have milk does have the better lineup, but I think femur had a significant advantage in pitching.

I think Femur takes it in a closer one

I got my team... My offense is better... and i don't think his rotation is that much better than mine... and i like my bullpen better...

Maybe you guys can help me out here. And I hope you don't take this as me bitching, because this is more of a collective thing. I've been ousted in the first round of every draft I have been a part of except for two since I have been doing these on the hoop and I want to get better. And I hate to seem like I am picking on milk, but he just happens to be the one who beat me now and I am a little drunk and a bit more outspoken right this minute.

So, starting pitching has been collectively given to me, so I won't touch on that. Relief wise, I have the goat at closer, which is the most important part of the pen, so I have to, at the very least, call that a tie, only if anyone is arguing that his set up and middle relievers are that much better than mine.

So, now we get to the lineup. Let's break this down position by position...

C Cochrane over hartnett
1B Gehrig over Mattingly
2B Gehringer over Myers * by a lot, considering how mad Milk got when I picked him
3B Schmidt over Brooks... especially on offense
SS Banks over Appling
RF Ruth over Gonzo
CF tough call, considering they are two different styles of play. Maybe I am biased, but I'll take Dawson's power and rbis and 8 gold gloves and MVP to lofton's speed and average and 4 gold gloves.
LF Frank over Billy Williams and his colt 45
DH Klein over Sheffield, this could be debated, but Klein was an MVP and finished 2nd twice. He also led the league multiple times in runs, hits, doubles, homers, and RBI. Plus, Klein is a HOFer.

So, I have me winning 5 to 4 in the lineup. I didn't delve too much into the bench, but I can't imagine that factoring in too much into anyone's decision. I can understand if people don't score the lineup exactly the way I did, but of we call that even and the pens even, I have the distinct advantage in starting pitching.

Like I said, I hate to seem like I am bitching or picking on milk, because I could do this for a lot of my matchups. But I could also see how I lost some of them.

But in this case, I felt like the only way I could lose this was if people were too enamored with the Ruth/Frank/Schmidt middle of the lineup to see my complete package. Either that, or I am way off in my baseball analysis, which may very well be the case. But, either way, I would like to know you guys' thoughts on it so I can improve.

It's not like this was a slam dunk in Milk's favor, I just like the heart of his batting order more than I do yours, you do have some good players Gehringer and Cochrane I like a lot, but when we get into the 2nd and 3rd rounds of the playoffs all the teams are really good it just comes down to a few things for most of us I imagine.
