I watch this clip all the time. Has to be the loudest countdown ever in sports history coming from a crowd.

They aired this on tape delay. I think most people knew the outcome. The US wanted to change the time to show it live but Russia refused. This is the only time that I was excited watching a game that I already knew who won.

According to several people on the team, Brooks walked in before the Finland game and said "You lose this one, you will take it to your fucking grave".

Then he walked to the door, paused, turned back to the room and said "YOUR FUCKING GRAVE!"

And walked out.

"Do you believe in Miracles" is the best sports documentary, ever.

If that is true - maybe the greatest pep talk ever!
