Lebron can't shoot like Tatum. He's just a ball dominator\stat padder who does a lot of offensive fouling to get his points. He's not the player Tatum is.

this year Tatum shot 35.3% from 3 and 45.3% from the field. Very mediocre.

outside of his rookie year the LOWEST LeBron has ever shot from the field in his 18 year career is 47.2%. - his second year. His career average is over 50% from the field.

LeBron has shot over 50% from the field 11 times in his career. Tatum has never shot more than 47.5%- which was his rookie year with significantly less than a 1000 shots. In any other year- with a full amount of shots- the highest he has ever shot from the field is 45.9%--- which is very mediocre.

As a high volume shooter- Tatum is not very efficient. It is one of the things he will have to improve upon if he is ever going to be considered a top 5 player in his career.

if "prime" tatum is just a 45.3% shooter from the field- he has no business being discussed as a top 5 player.
