LeBron is37 and - for 1 series I would still take him over TAtum- for a whole season I would take Tatum because LeBron no longer has the juice to play every night 100%

but i mean- LeBron just had a 30 pt, 8 rebound 6 assist season at age 37. Tatum has never done that in his life and probably never will- and LeBron is doing that at 37.

You can criticize LeBron- and I DEFINITELY do- but his team sucked this year.

If you switch Tatum and LeBron - the Lakers still dont make the playoffs- and i absolutely think the Celtics are still in the Finals.

LeBron has so many great playoff series. I have yet to see Tatum have 1 truly great playoff series. His last one against the Heat--- 25, 6, 8 is pretty close to the Bucks series.

That series against Boston- where he went into Boston and won game 6---- LeBron was at 34, 11, 4 for the series. In the Finals that year he was at 29-10-8

against GSW in the Finals he went for 30-11-9....followed that up with 34-10-12 the next year.

Tatum will NEVER EVER do stuff like that in the NBA Finals.

Let me know when Tatum averages a triple double with 30+ points in 2 straight finals

so far- his finals exerpience is a forgettable 3/17 performance where Al Horford bailed his ass out.

Tatum's performance against the Heat was good--- but in reality---- the numbers he put up are a sub-par LeBron series. Numbers dont lie.

25-8-6 on 47% shooting is a pretty crappy LeBron series. Its the best we have seen out of Tatum.
Lebron has never outplayed and eliminated players the caliber of Durant\Giannis\Butler in 1 consecutive run.

He was usually playing 2nd tier stars like Paul George or wannabees like Victor Oladipo.

Who gives a shit about Lebron's stats against Warriors in 2017\2018 when his team was getting his ass kicked? empty stats

Lebron can't shoot like Tatum. He's just a ball dominator\stat padder who does a lot of offensive fouling to get his points. He's not the player Tatum is.

Getting over the hump as soon as the best player in the world hits his peak.

23-24ish is usually when a player comes into peak/prime

He had top two advanced stats in the regular season (2nd to only jokic).

And now he outplayed Durant/Giannis/butler and eliminated them

Only a f'n clown would say he's not the best in the damn world

How about 2016 when they beat a 73 win team?

Tatum didn’t eliminate all those players either. The Boston Celtics did. Tatum has far better supporting cast than any of those other 3 player do.

The Celtics are where they are because they are a team. Tatum is the best player, but the Celtics are nowhere near as dependent on Tatum as the Cavs were on LeBron.

And stat padders don’t drag shitty rosters to the Finals. LeBron did that twice.

I'm talking about east coast runs.

But Tatum is about to beat that same 73 win core right now. Except Wiggins is way better then Harrison Barnes. Mark Jackson said Barnes was possessed by a demon! Hahaha he sucks and was atrocious that series

I'm a strong believer that 2 way wings and guards have the highest impact on the game.

So my opinion on guys like Duncan or Kareem is lower then most

It really got suspicious when he said that Tatum could hit a step back 3 and Bird never did that. Everyone knows Bird was the king of step backs.
Hell, Bird would tell you he's going to take that step back, and then proceed to do it.

No, he isn’t.

The current Warriors aren’t close to as good as the 2016 version.

Klay and Draymond aren’t near what they were. And Steph has declined some too.

The three point line era started at 1979. Lets see how many wings\guards and shooters were the best players on finals mvp or best player on team compared to big men who like to post up.

1979 - dennis johnson (guard)
1980 - Kareem (magic won finals mvp but i will give kareem a pass here)
1981 - Larry Bird
1982 - Magic Johnson
1983 - Moses Malone
1984 - Larry Bird
1985 - Magic Johnson
1986 - Larry Bird
1987 - Magic Johnson
1988 - Magic Johnson
1989 - Isiah Thomas
1990 - Isiah Thomas
1991\93 - Michael Jordan
1994\1995 - Hakeem
1996-98 - Jordan
1999 - Duncan or Robinson
2000\02 - Shaq
2003 - Duncan
2004 - Billups
2005 - Manu
2006 - Wade
2007- Manu
2008 - Pierce
2009\10 - Kobe
2011 - Dirk (shooter, i'm not counting him as a posting big)
2012\13 - Lebron
2014 - Kawhi
2015 - Curry
2016 - Lebron
2017\18 - Curry
2019 - Kawhi
2020 - Lebron
2021 - Giannis

32\42 years was a guard or wing. 31 if you count Dirk as a center.

That's majority DOMINATING the league that were guards\wings.

Also a jaw dropping 9\10 years were a guard or a wing

The only time big men consistently dominated was the ABA crackhead era or back in the 60s when their was 5 teams in the league.

No, I’m starting to think he has autism…
i don't have autism just because i hate garbage ball dominator brand of ball that luka\lebron represent. Especially Luka.

Brand of ball that would only win if the talent is extremely overmatching the other tatum

i would slap those guys if i was on their team, pass the ball. Especially luka you don't even play d and you're holding it that long.

OK, now how many starting Guards/Wings are on a team compared how many Centers.
