Brown is 25 and will be a top 15 player for the next 8 years

Tatum is 24 and will be the best player for the next decade or at worst top 3

Smart is 28 and will be a top 25 player for the next 5 years

They have a lot of deep playoff runs coming.

Nah, they already peaked, they will be on the decline after this finals. They got lucky they played hobbled teams on their way to the ring anyway.

This is the first season of GOATUM'S peak. He will win 3-5 rings

Durant, jrue and butler will all be washed by next year

Their is reasonable ways to debate me. The ones that aren't reasonable, I won't waste time with.

Tatum is putting up 26/6/6 with elite defense and outplayed and eliminated Durant, Giannis, butler. Now he's 2 wins away from doing the same thing to Curry. It's time to face the facts. Tatum is the best player in the world and is having easily a top 10 playoff run in nba history

See though?

That is just it.

Your opinions aren’t reasonable.

It is pretty tough to have a reasonable debate with someone who has unreasonable opinions.

A 1st team all nba player just eliminated Durant/Giannis/butler while averaging 26/7/6 with elite d and 3 point shooting. Now he's up 2-1 on former champions.

It is more then reasonable to assume that's the best player in the league and he's having a goat level playoff run.

Matter a fact, Tatum is having a clearly better playoff run then curry ever had. Curry was either hurt/choking in 2016 or meh in 2015 and then he was a front runner with Durant. And of course tatum is clearly better this years playoffs. All at age 24 and he was 23 to start the season.

Curry is a great winner.

But he was never legitimately in the conversation for best player in the league. LeBron was always very clearly better when Curry was winning MVPs.

But his team beat LeBron’s 3 times.

Tatum’s team may have beat Giannis and Butler. But Giannis and Butler were the best players on the court in those series.

That isn’t a knock on Tatum. He is a rising superstar.

But he isn’t where you are trying to put him.

And that is plainly obvious to any objective person who understands basketball.

And the biggest problem is that some of what you take for given as fact in your pro-Tatum argument simply isn’t true.

Butler might of had better peak game in the series but overall he did not outplay Tatum. .

Tatum had the same points on better efficiency (+4 TS%) and also averaged more rebounds and more assists. No case for butler for overall series due to his lows being so bad.

You can't skip over the fact that he absolutely destroyed Durant. A lot of people were calling Durant the best in the world the last 3-4 years. Tatum made him look like just another guy.

As far as Giannis, it was close but Tatum outplayed him in 4/7 wins. I have a write-up on this on a blog actually:

Default Tatum outplayed Giannis in 4/7 games
If you out-play someone the majority of the games (at least 4) then I would say you won the duel. So in this case, Tatum outplayed Giannis.

Game 2: Tatum 29 points 65% TS and 11 BPM VS Giannis 28 points on 45% TS

Tatum clearly outplayed Giannis here as Giannis was awful

Game 4: Tatum had 10 points in 4th quarter taking over and winning. 28 on 56% TS a 10% higher TS over Giannis 46% TS

Game 6: Tatum had 46 points on 66% TS and hit huge clutch shots. This one also edge to Tatum

Game 7: Tatum had a great passing game and set up grant Williams for a lot of his shots. Giannis had a great 1st quarter but was terrible after that with more shots then points at 25 points on 26 shots. Tatum had two less points on 12 less shots so just a way more efficient + better passing game then Giannis

All the guys i blocked are now magically unblocked. I can see their posts. But when i click on their profile it says ignore. Am I getting trolled by moderators or what. Anyways i'll just zone them out. I'll be in the f'n zone like Goatum has been all year.
Because you're blocking, then unblocking to talk so you can grab your little baby nuts and talk back, then blocking again.

Tatum would be very disappointed in you…

Who would win in a fight?

Jayson Tatum

or a Hurricane?

Here's the catch:

The hurricane is named Hurricane Tatum.

Idk… Boring troll is boring.
Wrong answer.

Hurricane Tatum would win, of course... it has all the powers of Jayson Tatum and a hurricane rolled into one.

Idiot.

He’s first team on a technicality. He isn’t a true 1st team player and even Tatum has said that when he said it’s crazy Embiid wasn’t 1st team. There were more first team ballots without Tatum than with Tatum. Great player. But 2nd team.

You’re nuts. Giannis was the best player in the Bucks Celtics series. Butler was the best player in the Heat Celtics series. The Celtics had the better team, with the better fit, and the better team system and defense in those series. And most importantly they were more healthy.
