It's ridiculous. At least this should give a little help to the Warriors since they are the older team. I think LeBron pushed for this a few years back, so if the Warriors win, then LeBron gets an assist.

I'm ok with the extra day off for travel days but there are 2 issues.

1) There should not be 2 days off between games 1 and 2. I get they don't want to have a game on Saturday night so maybe start the finals on a Tuesday so game 2 can be on thursday then game 3 on Sunday

2) Limit the amount of travel which was the purpose of 2-3-2 format. Under the 2-3-2 format and a tuesday start as I suggested, game 7 of the finals would end 5 days earlier

That was the worst finals performance from an MVP ever, probably the worst performance from any superstar ever.

These warriors in general have been pretty fortunate with luck.

2015 - Paul is hurt misses a game. Kawhi would of beat curry's ass like he always does but Duncan let Chris Paul make a game winner over him. Then love and Irving were hurt in finals

2017 - kawhi hurt

2018 - Paul hurt

2022 - Murray and porter hurt, ja hurt

We'll see how tough they are when they actually face a healthy squad

Yep you can slow down great players but lock them down completely in a best of 7 series? Not happening

Also with the way Boston switch on screens, it is pretty easy to get Smart off Steph. Not like all of his shot attempts will come against Smart

And if they expend all that effort 'locking down' Steph and Klay, Poole and Wiggins will run wild

Brown = siakam
Horford = gasol

Tatum is the true defensive anchor of this team. They try to credit Horford and give him all this money and he sucked ass with 76ers/thunder. Now he came back crying to papa Tatum.

Oh yeah and while al was gone, Tatum was averaging 25/10 in the east finals.
