for the first time since i can remember, the nba finals are featuring two teams that i actually like, so regardless of who wins, i'll be pleased. that's nice.

I am going to guess it is because both are home grown, drafted and developed players, good citizens etc

A good alternative to formed super teams era

Are you kidding like I am? Because if you change your assessment based on that graphic you're even more bad at this than I already thought you were.
Actually this is influencing my prediction

There have always been super teams.

Remember the Rockets with The Dream, Drexler, and Barkley? There was just a bit of a gap in them until LeBron went to Miami.

This will be fun watching the Warriors in the underdog role. I know Vegas has the Warriors as the favorite, but most of the pundits seem to be picking the Celtics.

I thought the Celtics were considered the under dogs

They are in Vegas, but a lot of pundits are picking the Celtics.

Supposidly (if you believe the talking heads in Boston media - lmfao) the Celtics are "built" to beat the Warriors. Hopefully they are right but this will go 7

Why would anyone listen to anything from Boston’s sports media outside the sport of baseball? Mass Holes really do know their baseball. Even like 8 and 9 year olds can talk baseball up there. But when it comes to any other sport? Woof. Just a bunch of obnoxious homers that don’t know shit about sports like Bob Ryan.

Not a hugs BBALL fan but when the Celtics are on I watch them. And I learned some things this year. 1. That Giannis dude is a bad, bad, man. 2. Damn near impossible to stop Steph. 3. Boston really lacks a shooting guard and live and die by the three. 4. Boston has a really good defense and maybe better bench depth? Maybe! This being said I think the Warriors will win but I have to be part homer Boston in 7

Agree with this. I think the Warriors win.

The Celtics chance, imo, comes down to Mahcus Smaht.

We know what they're likely to get from Tatum and have a strong idea what they'll get from Brown.

They know they will get defense from Smart, but his offense is pretty inconsistent and only shows up about every 3rd game or so. If he can be good offensively in at least 3 or 4 games...they have a good shot at winning.
