Draymond came out to be super physical (almost too much) and I think it really made a difference in the game. Bulldozing Marcus Smart pretty much epitomized it all. He was going to make sure that the Warriors played with more force in this game.

Just figured it out with NBA TV help, dude is going full Rodman on the Bulls, acting crazy and messing with their heads. This is all a troll and it kinda works...

People bitch about how the refs never call traveling in the NBA but don't realize many of the times, the players aren't actually traveling. Moving Screens, however, is actually the thing that never gets called that people should be upset about. It happens all the time. Even egregious ones like this don't get called. Like I'm sure you know, Grant Williams and Al Horford never stopped on basically every screen in that Heat series and I think they called it once.

Yep just NBA refs not doing their basic job. I get you can't call it on everyplay but should be a point of emphasis IMO

Let's remember the Warriors won this with defense including the 3rd quarter. 88 points is legit. If they can bring that the rest of the way they will be hard to beat.

Holding anyone to 88 points in this nba doesn't happen frequently so i wouldn't hold them to these high standards

GP2 made a big difference. Stabilized the 2nd unit D that was a disaster in game 1.

All around rebounds isn’t a very important stat, imho. OReb is, however.

Dubs won the oReb battle in game 1 (12-7) and they tied in game 2 (6-6).

What that tells me is the Dubs are a slightly better rebounding team, but not by an Earth shattering amount.

Basically, the Celts won game one for 1 simple reason. They couldn’t miss in the 4th quarter. It was that simple. And any team can get into that zone (or the converse of it - see 2017 OKC).

That isn’t taking anything away from the Cs. They are an amazing defensive team. They have lots of answers for the questions the Dubs are asking them. Overall, these are 2 very evenly matched teams. I predicted the series would go 7, and I predicted each team would win 1 road game. So far, the series is progressing exactly as I expected.

I think its interesting that both teams were 15 of 37, over 40% from 3 in this game--- and despite that- the Warriors dominated. That is a bad sign for the Celtics.

i would have expected that in games where the Celtics shot excellent from 3- they would either win- or it would be a very close game.

For the Celtics to shoot so well from 3, and to hit 15 three's, and get their ass kicked- is a bad sign for them.

The Warriors beat them soundly in this game by doing other things- which is very important for the Warriors- and I think shows why they will ultimately win the series.

weird game- even before garbage time the Celtics played 10 guys at least 10 times minutes.

Klay played poorly.

3 of the Celtics starters combined for 6 points. Rebounds were practically even. Brown and Tatum only combined 13 for 36....

definitely a weird game all around. Payton and Poole both played very well.
