JJ Redick was a media guy before getting the HC job for the Lakers.

And as I said, people and perceptions change. How Draymond is perceived and how he behaves today will change over time. Not saying he for sure will end up a coach but it's very much a possibility if he wants to go that route.

It means what is stated. He certainly has a higher IQ than Screaming A and Skip and the rest. Not every basketball player has the IQ to be a coach. We won't be seeing JaVale McGee or KAT in coaching in the future.

Draymond can be and has been a 'serious person' plenty and of course is a great leader on the floor. I'm not saying he will coach the year after retiring. Jason Kidd and Larry Bird come to mind as similar floor leaders turned coaches.

Could be great or a spectacular failure. I lean more toward the failure side.

But sometimes players buy into quirky personalities like his. Draymond is real and he is definitely going to have the attention of the locker room at first.

Just a matter of whether or not he can make the right decisions to keep it.
