Phoenix is getting exposed as a system team without Cup calibre talent. The Wings and Devils may have won a bunch of Cups on a system, but they had the big guns to back it up. Phoenix has Doan and a hot goalie. That's not enough to beat a team like LA.

congrats on the win Kings. Played a hell of a game and exactly what I feared, Kings can score and score a lot.

Yotes gotta pick it up and take game 2, a loss in game 2 and I don't like our chances of getting back into the series.

The Kings too had their fair share of blown chances..either way Quick didn't have his best game and the Kings won one for him. Game 2 will be interesting, Phoenix is coached well and Tippet is gonna have his group ready.
