I think the team has been a joke and should have been moved years ago. If they get lasting fans and can make it there great, I just do not expect it. I expect them to move still sometime in the future, to any city but Portland.

It doesn't thrill me that a league run team is in the conference finals. It seems suspect, though I am reasonably certain nothing funny was going on. It just seems convenient.

It's convenient yes, but I don't think even the modest ardent conspiracy theorist could point to any incidents to say the league is showing favoritism, unless it was hookers hired by the league that kept Radulov and Kostitsyn out all night in Phoenix.

I won't judge the Yotes fans yet...next year is the test. What's bothered me about their fanbase is that they've had some pretty good years, and the fans still aren't showing up. There's something to be said about fans showing up for success, but it took the second round of the playoffs for them to show up. We'll see, won't bash Ducks though, he chose a team, and got lucky. Hahaha.

Nashville Webetors in 5. Coyotes thrive on playing teams that don't match their work ethic. Nashville has work ethic in spades, a better goalie and a better defense (offenses are about equal).

Atlanta had that too.

I always feel bad for the dedicated fans that do exist, but the fact remains that not every city is cut out to support an NHL team right now.
