Not sure how they define pivitol...the team has depth on the edge...its the NT that to me is pivitol this year..

I agree with you though... to make the 3-3-5 work to the best of its abilities... the NT will have to be huge in terms of consistently taking on 2 offensive linemen each play.


A side note... of interest to me... I have read Gibby wants to use more press coverage with his corners this fall. Casteel liked a cover 3.


Will be interesting to see how the CB's perform this year. I am pretty confident in their abilities...

Im guessing we will see a rotation of Rose/Brown at NT. Though If Jackson gets comfy and learns the position he could pass them both due to the fact the he is enormous

I he can definitely play press out of it...I think what everyone is caught up in and it will likely be the case in the end..its a 3-3 defense...which doesn't mean its a 33 Stack...I would guess this will look more like a 3-4 defense, choosing to replace a MiKe LB with a Nickel for speed ...
