The fake punt was by design. the D made a play.

The fake DPI on an uncatchable pass to Samuel, the holding on that sameul run on 3rd down before the 4th and 1. The missing the clear DPI on michigan's 3rd down pass in double OT.

those are real gifts.

Not to mention the speight fumble at the GL.

Not really that ballsy the way his kicking game was going. Woulda been a no-brainer for me.

His kicker had just made the game tying FG, and was one of the most consistent FG kickers in the B1G. In OT, with 4th and 1 and a short kick to tie the game...that was a ballsy call. Especially with the playoffs on the line.
