I hate that the Eagles play the last game of the weekend.

What sucks will be traveling across the country on short rest to face the 49ers as the 1st game on Saturday. Last on Sunday to first on Saturday is a crappy draw for the Eagles, especially due to the travel.

Then again, the Eagles play well on short weeks.

I wonder if the league designed it this way to give an extra advantage to the number 1 seed. I'm guessing it wasn't by design because if it were, they should've scheduled the Bills-Texans game for Sunday so that the Ravens could get this benefit, too, assuming the games this weekend play out as expected. I do like that the NFL gives the top teams extra advantages in the playoffs.

I’m sure it just worked out that way. The league isn’t gonna give those kinds of advantages to higher seeded teams

I think there is something in the NFL By-laws that states the Texans always play in the Saturday afternoon timeslot on wildcard weekend

Don't like the extra advantages for the top seeds? I would feel the same way even if the Niners weren't the 1 seed. Playoffs are a crap shoot and anyone can win in a single elimination tournament, so there should be some extra benefits for the teams who grinded out more wins in the regular season.

What’s ridiculous is how overrated Rodgers has been throughout his career. Wentz is a good QB. Rodgers is also a good QB who was once great. But he’s older and also kind of a shitbag from what I hear.

AR may not be very likable to other fans but neither are Brady and BB....That doesn't change the fact that they are great at their job....I don't recall Wentz ever playing in a playoff game, let alone winning one and to compare him to one of the top 3 and arguably top talent at the qb position who has won not only playoff games but a SB, carried that team on his back to several playoffs, and a for sure 1st ballot HOF'mer, is absolutely ridiculous....
I hope Wentz becomes a great one but up to now, he's not comparable to the elite qb's in this league IMO......

This will be an interesting game for sure. As you know, the Eagles defense played well in the Seahawks game, but the offense struggled. I think Wentz will do much better this time around. Seahawks have struggled all season, but Wilson is Wilson, and it feels like he can beat a team all by himself like he almost did to the Niners last week.
