Now let's look at the other Raptors role players who also been shit

Ibaka- avg 4 points on 28% shooting through 3 games

Gasol- 6.7 PPG and 5 RPG while playing 30 MPG through the first 3 games

Norman Powell- Scored a total of 9 points in this series

VanVleet- Scored a total of 4 points in this series

Danny Green- AVG 7.7 points and shooting about 30% from 3

Series will be over Tuesday if this is the production they continue to get from their role players

I agree for the most part.

Gasol is the one player on this list who does not deserve any criticism.

His primary job is to make Embiid's life miserable. Until game 3, he has done just that.

Youre wrong. When hes hitting his shots it forces the opposing team to cover him tightly. This means driving lanes open up for himself to drive and dish and others to drive and pop. Its not just his scoring, its the total vacuum of his play. He is tenative, hesitant, and making poor decisions. Dont defend this guy, its not like he hasnt disappeared before. Its pretty much status quo for the guy to become a liability in the playoffs. All stars and team leaders cant become liabilities in the playoffs if you expect that team to advance.

Being tentative and hesitant is not a good look. And he was in game 3.

That was not the case in game 1.

I am not defending Lowry's play last night. It was bad. I am defending his play from games 1 and 2 and the first round of the playoffs after a wretched game 1 against Orlando.

Lowry has games where he inexplicably disappears, and that is a problem. But his game is a lot more than scoring. And I have seen games where he has shot poorly, but still played aggressively and been as asset.

Lowry is a secondary scorer. His role for the Raptors is somewhat similar to Brogdon's for the Bucks. Some nights you need him to score more, but most nights his primary job is to defend and get the ball moving.

In this series, they him to score around 15 PPG. This isn't Orlando.

Can't expect 70+ points from Siakam/Leonard every night. In the only game they won so far, they got 74 from those 2.

Once again this isn't only about Lowry. It is about him, Ibaka, Gasol, Van Vleet, and etc also stepping up.

Sixers played hard and then pulled their starters with like 5 minutes left in the 4th quarter. WTF are they supposed to do? Stop whining, take the L like a man.

I agree that they need somebody else to score.

But I also think Lowry is doing his a lot job better than almost everybody else you mentioned.

Lowry needs to get 20 if those guys don't show up. But The Raptors are probably at their best when Lowry is getting 12-15 with double digit assists. That requires guys like Green and Ibaka to make a couple shots.

Still avoiding me @WiggyRuss

I saw you posting on another thread today
Told you we could all just guess what his reply would be.....

I go with "well, it's only been 2 games"

Ignoring, of course, he crushed him after just one game.

Let us know if you hear anything please.

1:30 update had him as doubtful still. Game time decision. Unless this is all mind games I would imagine he is out for the game at this point.
