Lowry attempts the 3rd most shots on the team in the playoffs and is only making 40% of his shots. Meanwhile Kawhi is at 58 % and Siakam is at 52%.

40% is a horrible shooting % for any player. Nobody is asking Lowry to come out here and shoot 25X. Simply be more efficient.

Toronto not going to win this series/make it out the East with this guy shooting 40% from the field.

Siakam and Leonard alone can't beat the 3 remaining teams in the Eastern Conference. That shit can only work in round 1 when you play a team who you are clearly better than that.

My point was: by this point, talk is cheap with Lowry. He gotta do it consistently when it matters the most... period.

It's definitely not, but I will say many Raptor fans blamed Casey for anything that went wrong last year in the playoffs....how fans are.

Man you really hate Kyle Lowry.

I really don't think you understand his role on the team.

He has had 2 bad playoff games this year out of 8. The Raptors lost both because he is a vital cog for them. Game 1 of this series he played well.

But damn you overstate the importance of Lowry's scoring. He is a throw back, pass first PG on this team. His job is to defend, facilitate the offense, and score occasionally.

Lowry only attempts about 11 shots a game because their lineup is filled with capable NBA scorers. Leonard and Siakam are clearly the 1 and 2 options. Gasol is still a capable scoring option and Danny Green is one of the best spot up shooters in the NBA.

They don't need Lowry to score 20 a game. They need him to play tough defense and help Siakam, Green, Gasol and others to get theirs. Leonard can get his own.

Youre wrong. When hes hitting his shots it forces the opposing team to cover him tightly. This means driving lanes open up for himself to drive and dish and others to drive and pop. Its not just his scoring, its the total vacuum of his play. He is tenative, hesitant, and making poor decisions. Dont defend this guy, its not like he hasnt disappeared before. Its pretty much status quo for the guy to become a liability in the playoffs. All stars and team leaders cant become liabilities in the playoffs if you expect that team to advance.

The needle just moved that much closer to the Sixers offering him a max contract.
It's not about deserve, it's about how else can they spend that money?
Where else can they get that kind of production for that much money.

Last night was more important to the Sixers than the Raptors. I said yesterday that the Sixers HAD to win last night.

If they win Sunday then the series is likely over. If they lose then it goes 7 which favors the Raps.

Well Lowry said Simmons apologized so he didn't make a big deal out of it.

As for Siakam/Embiid, dirty play but I don't think much will be made out of it either because according to the ESPN guys, those 2 are actually friends.

That's why this series is so important for the future of the Sixers.
Game 3 was arguably the most important game of the Process to date.

Before, I was probably at 10% to sign Butler to a max.
I might be at 60% now for a 3 year max, then drop 10% for each additional year.

One thing about Jimmy is he may be an asshole but he is a damn good player and usually shows up in the playoffs. This year been no different.

Sixers now with 6 wins in the playoffs and he played a huge role in half of those wins.
