22 shots to get 30 points is pretty bad.

from what I saw of the game Butler at least tried on defense tonight though- much more important than his inefficient scoring.

Butler:

30 pts, 11 boards, and 5 assists.

Finally lol. He stepped up down the stretch, he wasn't that efficient but he was aggressive. Only way Philly moves on is if he continues to be aggressive bc Simmons isn't reliable. Embiid usually is but he had an off night.

This was by far the best game had all playoffs so far. He might be worth a max if he could continue to do this on a constant basis but he's only taken more than 13 shots in two games this entire playoffs.

The Sixers defense wasn't bad, but I didn't think it was "hold the Raptors to only 89 points" good.

Danny Green used to be $.

Not sure what happened.

He shot great during the regular season. He is only shooting 31% in the playoffs from 3. They need him to heat up.
They also need Lowry to have more than a decent game every 3 games. It helps having Siakam take more the load off of him but 12 ppg isn't enough imo. The assist numbers will come strictly just from having the ball in his hands.

The non-Kawhi/non-Siakim Raptors pretty much played the same way in Game 2 as they did in Game 1.

However Kawhi and Siakim who went 28-38(74% shooting) on Saturday went 22-49(45%) shooting last night.

The Raptors are not going to get 75% from those 2 every night.

Seems to me that the Sixers focused almost exclusively stopping Kawhi and Siakim. Kawhi still had a great stat line, and made some really really tough shots, but Siakim really struggled at least compared to how he has played in the playoffs so far.

Every playoffs, same thing. Houston might win tomorrow, and all the "Ws got this in 5" idiots will shut up. Or maybe Houston loses, and we get the "Ws sweep!" takes. SMH

and, no, 22 shots for 30 points is not "pretty bad". Pretty close to Kawhi's 24 for 35.
