I've actually seen multiple people saying the Jazz are one piece away from contending for a title, and people were hyping up Dame/McCullom as the best PG/SG combo in the league, and it was all being done to give more credit to the Warriors.

You have to remember that just because you don't feel this way, or say these things, other Warriors fans, especially ones that aren't avid fans, suck, just like '11-14 Heat fans that are now Cavs fans, suck.
Ok, so you're saying that equates to being told they're world beaters? :noidea:

Also, there are plenty of analysts saying that Dame/CJ are the 2nd best back court in the game. They put up 75 points combined in one game - MY GAWD....and although that is a phenomenal stat it still wasn't enough to win the game. They lost by 14 points. I think it's safe to say the Warriors deserve that credit.

I believe Utah is one good player away. If they can manage to extend Hayward & Rudy can stay healthy with that 3rd guy they would be dangerous. Add to that they also have a good coach.

Were you told they were world-beaters or just good competitors??

Hey, exaggeration is a tool commonly used for emphasis. :D

Seriously, though, many people seem to think that the Blazers and Jazz are far superior to the Pacers and Raptors which is a premise I cannot get on board with.

Harden should have stayed in OKC. Then Durant probably would have stayed and they would have had 1-2 titles to their name already.

Now Harden will look like an MVP but never win a 'ship and Durant looks like "LeBron-lite" with the GS colluding

Harden was traded dude. Not his decision. OKC wasn't going to pay him, so they moved him.

Utah is 1 piece away from being a top 4 team in the NBA. They are a lot further than that from being an actual contender though.

Yea but will they have the legs to do it after this battle with Houston?

They'd have a better chance of having the legs to beat the Warriors playing their style rather than trying to run up and down with the Warriors.

Better? Yes. Far superior? No.

Harden wasn't traded. Houston just offered slightly more money and he jumped on it. It came down to paying Harden or paying Ibaka and OKC choose to give the money to Ibaka at that time.

After failing to agree on a contract extension with the Thunder, Harden was traded to the Houston Rockets, along with Daequan Cook, Cole Aldrich, and Lazar Hayward, for Kevin Martin, Jeremy Lamb, two first round picks, and a second round pick.[21] Rockets general manager Daryl Morey called Harden a "foundational" player and expected him to be Houston's featured player despite previously only playing a supporting role behind Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook.[22] On October 31, he signed a contract extension with the Houston Rockets for five years worth $80 million.[23]

He was traded. Your owner got cheap. He could've paid both players so long as he was willing to dip into the luxury.

Probably.

I give SA a 10% chance to win tonight anyway. They have a tendency to win games like this when you least expect it.

I hope for SA's sake that Leonard is near full strength by game 7 though. If not, they are in big trouble. STill not counting them out no matter what though. At least not against Houston.
