Series Thread: 2nd Round Houston Rockets vs. Los Angeles Clippers

Quit sandbagging. You should be hoping its the Clippers now. Its okay to see a wounded team ripe for picking.
We can all see the writing on the wall.

The cracks were there versus SA. But, somehow they found something left in the tank.
Eventually that Clips 6 man rotation will give out.

I am stunned they got this far.....I thought they would give out and lose to Houston by game 6.
Much props to them if they can outlast another grueling 7 games.

But an up and down track meet, relatively deep Warriors team, is literally the last thing the Clippers need.

The Clippers are praying the slow plodding Grizzlies make the West Finals.

Austin rivers has been good so 7 man. But no way rockets were winning this series I thought. I didn't think rockets were that good

I think Houston is a tough matchup, but not for GS. Yeah Dwight and Harden are tough matchups for them but at times Houston's offense doesnt look good and they jack up shots.
Also the defense at times looks effortless.

Now I think LA is a tough matchup for GS. This is the playoffs, no reason the young Clip should be winded.

I want to see that series will both teams playing well, should be an exciting one.

That must have been rough for Clippers fans. Staples was dead. The Lakers had that brutal collapse against the Celtics in the 2008 Finals. That was not fun to watch. That 2000 comeback against the Blazers, on the other hand...

They were playing so well when he was the focus.

Its like they forgot he existed and decided to just jack up whatever half-assed shot they wanted from scrubs.

McHale needs to be fired mid-4th quarter for this offensive plan.

Rockets have thrown in the towel, no need to play the 4th qt.

Kudos to the Rockets, I credit them for that huge comeback more so than Clippers choking. If there ever a time to use the hack a strategy, that was it imo. Slow the pace for your starters and even tho Clips starters were gassed, they had no answer for Houstons pace and ball movement.

And this isnt the first time guys like Brewer, Smith, Terry and Ariza came through this postseason. They gave Houston that run in the third qtr in Game 2 to tie the series. They did the same thing in the Mavs series as well. Im glad for them getting their due.

But I do feel bad for CP3. Im starting to wish this guy went to the East instead, how the heck can you get through to the WCF while Nahs Suns, Duncans Spurs, Kobes Lakers, Durants Thunder and Dirks Mavs are dominating during your tenure?

DWIGHT HOWARD is a dominant force who is willing his team to post-season success.


Wow, that was tough to write.....seems almost like a joke.....I hate that guy but I got to give him props.....



He remembered that he is a top 3 player on the planet if he actually doesnt act like a 4 year old.
If Howard keeps this up, the Rockets will win this series and keeping winning deep into June.

But, then again he can easily resort back to the immature douche bag Dwight.
I say its 30/70 that he keeps his act together.
