 I have no vendetta. You just think that anyone who criticizes him is hater with some personal grudge and can't stop yourself from defending him. You probably wouldn't defend a wife or girlfriend like you defend Lebron.

In all fairness, I wish I could find a girl who was on Lebron's level :D

Also, you apparently don't understand what the term deflection means. Deflection is when you try to turn a discussion about one thing into something else that is not what the point of the discussion was.

The point of the discussion wasn't about how long he tries to defend things, it's about that fact that he tries to for any length of time at all. The fact that he gives it more than one statement.

Geez, you actually had grasped the concept for a minute, but apparently you are just too upset that there are people who don't like Lebron and criticize him.

Tell us, does it keep you awake at night? Because you really seem to be unable to accept that people don't like him and have opinions about him that are contrary to yours.

Yikes. It's all good, bud. Take a deep breath and relax.

Go Cavs!

I despise the guy, but still don't see what the big deal with The Decision is/was all about.

1. As I've stated, I don't know the person who wouldn't sit in that chair for 90 minutes if it meant making millions of dollars.

2. Boys and Girls Club GREATLY benefited and still do.

Look, Cavs fans were going to furious no matter how he left. If they didn't see it coming, they were blind.

Further, rethinking last summer, same should/could be said about Riley and the Heat/Heat fans.
All the writing was on the wall.
I think we just couldn't believe he would leave a team who did everything they set out to do or ever assume that Gilbert would hand his team over to the person he wrote his rant about.

Is this a series thread or a Lebron-is-a-d-bag thread?

I'm trying to read through the pages but it's just bickering about Lebron James... who cares what he does off the court let's discuss this game/series. It's actually a good one! G3 in Chi city tonight.

JR comes back but looks as if Shump is out. I'm really excited to see how we come out on the road and also to see how the Bulls rebound from that lackluster performance in G2.

It's turn into Mr. Rogers and there goes the neighborhood. Who's character is better.. MJ, Kobe, or Lebron. I don't see why we just all agree to the fact that they all have flaws and who knows what the hell they're doin.

As far as the GAME, I'm stoked to watch. I hope both teams show up.

To be fair, it wasn't just Cavs fans that didn't see it coming. If memory serves, most people felt that the fact that he was having a whole show to announce it meant that he was returning to Cleveland. I don't think anyone believed that he would do the Cavs like that on national television.

Heat fans probably should have had a better idea sooner, but even then, the cloak and dagger nature of how he handled it would lead many to believe that he was returning. Especially with Wade and Bosh apparently being willing to take less so that the Heat could give him a max deal.

what did Riley retire MJ's number in Miami?

that was the most ridiculous thing i have ever seen....I think he was visiting too many off the beaten path night clubs when he made that decision....thats just embarrassing if you ask me. I understand LeBRon wearing #23 to honor MJ, and then when he went ot Miami the number was retired and he gave that BS speech about not wanting to wwear it ETC...

but cmon- a league executive retiring the number of a player that beat his ass? I think that is a black mark on Rileys resume and kinda really humiliating

LBJ is fake. Is he Elite basketball player Yes. People that defend him saying he isn't are just in love with him. These are the same people that bashed him for leaving the Cavs. I never saw a fan base love, hate and love a guy again. The best part they bashed him for leaving for Miami but then said it was ok that he left Miami hanging. I have heard many players say they dislike LBJ or think he is fake. Bosh most recent and they were best friends at one time.

Nope, Lebron is perfect! :laugh3:

It sucks that Shump is out now that JR is back, but hopefully it is a good game.

I personally never bashed him for leaving Cleveland he did all he could do at Cleveland at the time. And although I wasnt a Miami fan, I always rooted for him to do well in Miami even though I am a Cavs fans.
I am just happy he is back.

And no he didnt leave Miami hanging, he made a decision, a decision he thought was best for him at the time.

Do you have any evidence of this? I must have missed most of it.
